This past month has been action packed for our flower pressing studio! We have had guest appearances on the following television programs: Everyday Oregon, Good Day Rose City, GoodDay Oregon. We had a full-page feature in the Columbian and we recorded our first podcast with Authenticity Matters. All of these features can be found in our link tree bio on our Instagram page @vancuterielove.
Having an opportunity to discuss what flower preservation is, showcase our pressed floral designs, and market our company on a new platform was just the shot of confidence we needed. We had tremendous response from all of these experiences and also had quite a bit of fun during the process. We tried to capture some of the BTS footage. Morning TV is no joke!
Flower pressing workshops dates have dropped. We are collaborating with Field N Floral Design. Shawna is the owner of this beautiful farm, tucked away in a private location in Vancouver. This is one of the most magical gardens I have been to. If flowers are your love language, then this farm is for you. This is going to be a very special workshop. This month we also began offering resin add-ons to your preservation pieces. Those pieces include: Resin ornament with pressed flower pieces, Resin ornament with pressed whole flower, Wood Vanity Tray, Resin Vanity Tray, Gold or Silver Earrings, Keychains, and a Taper Candle Holder. We are working in collaboration with a preservation artist in Florida to help us with our pressed flower resin add-ons. Lara, owner of Orange Blossom Studios, in Florida is advanced floral preservation artist and will be designing the resin pieces we build for you. The pressing and reconstruction of your flowers happens here and Lara will finish off the resin pieces for you. More to come as this venture as just started.

Behind the scenes we are working on ways to improve your pressed flower designs. It’s all we think about around here. As the 2023 floral preservations are finishing up, we are experimenting with different flowers, different presses, different pressing techniques. We are expanding our reach and working on a fun project, with more deets to follow! Vancuterie is paving the way to make flower pressing accessible to everyone.
We are nearing capacity for our 2024 season. If having your bridal bouquet pressed is something you have been considering, book now to avoid missing out. Booking your bridal bouquet preservation early ensure that we have a presser available for you. Space cannot be held; the booking will go to the first person who places their order. If you book your preservation less than two weeks before your preservation drop-off you will incur a late fee.
